Couchwarden quick answers
Something I typed got swallowed.
That's the idle grace window doing its job a little too eagerly. Open the tray menu and shorten the grace period, switch the grace mode, or disable keyboard guarding for the session. Gaming? Use the disabled grace mode.
My mouse is frozen.
Mouse lockdown is on. Press the lockdown hotkey shown in the tray menu to release it — the menu always displays the current hotkey assignments.
Does it work with my antivirus?
Couchwarden observes input locally in order to suppress accidental events — the same mechanism any input-guard uses — and some antivirus products flag that behavior generically. The app contains no networking code (see privacy), so there is nothing it could transmit. If your antivirus quarantines it, add an exclusion or install via the Microsoft Store build, which carries Microsoft's own signing.
How do I uninstall?
Store build: uninstall like any app (Settings → Apps). Everything the app wrote — settings and its local log — lives in its own folder and is removed with it.
